FNB Franchise Leadership Summit 2014

The FNB Franchise Leadership Summit is an annual meeting and conference that is organised by First National Bank to enable potential franchisors to meet, network and learn from industry leaders in the franchising sector. This was the third in the series and was held in Johannesburg and for the first time in Cape Town in 2014. 

Brand South Africa Employee Value Presentation and Team Building

Chat’r was briefed by our client, Brand South Africa, to conceptualise and facilitate a values presentation and team building activity. The purpose was to formalise the organisation’s internal values system and to provide a motivational team building opportunity that clarified and spoke to the new set of values. 

Avios Travel Rewards Programme South African Launch

For the first time ever Avios, a global travel rewards programme, entered the South African market and we were tasked to arrange the launch events, which were held in the three key cities, Johannesburg, Cape Town and Durban. The purpose of the event was to introduce the travel rewards programme to its South African partners, the travel and consumer media and most importantly to the South African public at large.

Meetings Africa 2013, Inaugural Gala Banquet

The South African National Convention Bureau (SANCB)  are responsible for hosting the annual Meetings Africa meetings and exhibition aimed at the global business travel industry. At Meetings Africa MICE organisations are invited to exhibit to International Hosted Buyers and Local Corporate Buyers.


Siemens Sustainable African Cities Roadshow

Siemens AG as a global player in the sustainable energy and resource arena requested Brand Activation to assist with the creative and strategic conceptualisation of the South African leg of the Siemens Sustainable Cities Road Show which was to take place in the lead up to Siemens participation at COP17, held in Durban during December 2011.

Indaba Opening Ceremony 2009 & 2010

The Tourism Indaba trade show is held annually during the month of May at the Inkosi Albert Luthuli International Convention Centre in Durban under the management of South African Tourism. It is the 3rd largest show of its kind in the world and the biggest on the African continent and in the southern hemisphere.

Siemens Sustainable African Cities Tour Customer Gala Dinner

In November / December 2011, COP17 was hosted in South Africa, Siemens AG was one of the sponsors and as part of its involvement in this event it hosted its world wide board. This was the first time in Siemens™ 151 year history of doing business in South Africa, that the entire worldwide board of Siemens was in South Africa for a board meeting.

Briefed by our client Hardy Boys to assist Unilever to launch their new product Handy Andy Actifizz, our team of creative experts conceptualised a consumer engagement roadshow that would involve a hands-on consumer activation involving young children conducting experiments with Handy Andy Actifizz as the main ingredient.

TGCSA Annual Assessors Conference 2011

In 2011, The Team was briefed to create an industrial theatre piece that was to be presented to the TGCSA Assessors at their annual assessors conference held at San Lameer Peermont Mondazur Resort Hotel.
